English language is the one big
international language that is used by most of societies in this world. Many
people are trying to learn English than any other languages because it useful
in many majors. In job domain, it is used as political negotiation and
international business. In natural knowledge, it becomes Job science and
medicine language. This language also becomes major language in Southern
America and Europe. Besides, in Philippine and Japan, English is as an
educational language that almost students have to speak English in school. In
addition, it become international language because around 75 countries use it
as their language, consist of Britain, Canada, the United State, Australia,
South Africa, and short of things. Then, the countries which have different
spoken languages that often used it as official language. For example India
that use English to become their daily language.
The beginning of the English started
from 5000 years ago, when people in that era spoke a language, Indo-European
Language Family which was no longer spoken. Almost of people believe that
Indo-European language is an ancestor of English. The language included three
main ascents, Greek, German, and Iceland. Greek became modern Spanish, France,
and Italian language. Then, German split to be Dutch, Danish, Germany, Swedish,
and Norwegian, that they were the origins of English nowadays.
The history of English language
began with the invasion three Germanic tribes to Britain in 1500 years ago.
These tribes, Angles, Saxon, and Jutes, crossed the North Sea to Wales,
Scotland, and Ireland, where the societies spoke Celt language. The Jutes tribe
invaded the Celtic society that lived in the Britain for many years. Afterward,
the Angles and Saxon mixed to unity language, Anglo-Saxon Language that
developed into old English language. Nevertheless, Old English was different
from English in this era, it was difficult to be understood and only a few
people can understand the language. That is why, the Old English did not longer
to use.
The English history continued to the history of
the Wolf that told about Greek King. He was a good king who likes his society.
It became the beginning of Modern English which the development of Noun in
English. However, the spread of English happened when Britain became colony to
many countries. Many words that are used in this Era came from combination foreign
word in other countries where they invaded. Colonization of Britain causes the
globalization of English language. Beside collection new words from other
countries, they also introduced English. In addition, the evolved of English
turned out when it is used to Science and Politic major, because they added new
vocabularies that different from common English. That is why English become
International language until now.
